Except flat numbers (say hi to hidden resists that makes difference even more meaningless) and tiny acid spits from Strangler you can guided by appearance and not loose in efficiency. You can put a reactive plates, calibrated shocks or targeting HUD for any PA. When regular armor have prefix that determines the choice (unyielding, bolstering, vanguard, etc.), there's no point for choosing T-51b instead X-01, cause every type of PA have same mods for installing.
PA type dont matter in terms of base for your build.Everybody says about 42% damage reducing, but why nobody tell about 75% reducing from sentinel / cavalier sets? Most of endgame non-PA players have / collect these sets and besides of 75% reducing have another legendary effects. PA stats dont matter compared to 3 * legendary sets.'Power armor is strong enough, why people complaining about it?
